Job Description
North Okaloosa Medical Center is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in beautiful Crestview, Florida.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Full-time, hospital employed position (no locums or part-time)
- General orthopedics with some sports and total joints
- Access to MAKO, block time available
- Three operating rooms at the ambulatory surgery center
- Five operating rooms at the main hospital
- High volume, quick ramp-up
- Joining a well-established group
- Shared call with an experienced team
- Office space available
- Work in a supportive environment with access to referring PCPs and specialists
- Robust onboarding, marketing, and physician outreach support
- Strong clinical and administrative support with experienced APC staff
- Dedicated medical assistant from day one, additional support grows with volume
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible and have completed U.S. residency training
- J1 visa support is NOT available at this location

North Okaloosa Medical Center is a 150-bed acute care hospital serving residents of Florida’s Emerald Coast region. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital provides 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, same-day surgery, diagnostic imaging that includes CT and MRI, cardiac services, rehabilitation, pulmonary care, pediatric services, senior wellness programs, and laboratory services.
