North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Florida is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join their team.
Position Purpose:
- Provide outpatient care & preventive health services for clinic patients, within specialty, under physician general supervision.
- Provide medical care & preventive health services consistent with national and local standards as delineated by Practice Parameters, clinic protocols, or the weight of the current medical literature.
- Refers to or consults with appropriate professional specialists and outside agencies.
- Contributes to practice efficiency through cost containment and patient management.
- Attends clinic meetings and serve on appropriate committees.
- Participates as peer reviewer in clinic Quality Improvement Program.
Required Experience & Education
- 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing
- C-ARC-BLS & L-FL-Nurse Practitioner licenses/certifications
