The Northwest Allied Bariatric and Foregut practice is seeking to employ a full-time hospital-based Physician Assistant to support our practice needs. The practice is comprised of two MIS fellowship trained surgeons whose focus in primarily upon diseases of the stomach and esophagus. The position will entail working as a first assistant in the operating room on a daily basis, seeing new hospital consults, and providing follow-up care and post-operative discharge instructions for our surgical patients. There is no weekday call requirement. However, this position includes primary call coverage every third weekend with backup from one of the two surgeons. We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking individual who is driven to continue learning his/her craft.
Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Hospital Employed
- 2 or More Years’ Experience is Preferred
- Joining Two Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
- Tentative Call - 1:3
- Required: First Assistance Experience, Bariatrics, Weight Management or Nutritional Health Experience
