Mountain View Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated board-certified Internal Medicine Residency Program Director to lead our esteemed Categorical Internal Medicine residency program.
Our facility, a 168-bed hospital, serves a growing population of over 300,000 and is recognized for its commitment to excellence in medical education and patient care.
As the Program Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development and execution of our Internal Medicine residency program. This role balances administrative and clinical teaching responsibilities, offering a 50/50 split between each.
Position Details:
- Lead and oversee the Categorical Internal Medicine residency program.
- Engage in a blend of administrative duties and clinical teaching.
- Bring a minimum of three years of educational or administrative experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Program.
- Participate in faculty recruitment, retention, and professional development.
- Develop and implement curriculum, policies, and procedures for the residency program.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements and standards.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine in the United States.
- Proven track record of leadership in medical education.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
