Job Description

Dukes Memorial Hospital, part of the Lutheran Health Network, is seeking two OBGYN physicians for community-based, hospital employed practice. You’ll have the opportunity to have an impact on your patients in this small, but growing community. Experienced physicians or new residents welcome! Peru, known as the Circus Capital of the World, offers substantially lower cost of living, an established school system with advanced student curriculum, affordable housing varieties, recreational lake activities, live performing theaters, museums, state parks, and hiking trails. Peru is just 1 hour from Indianapolis, 2.5 hours from Chicago, and 50 minutes from Fort Wayne.

· 4 clinic days/week with flexible hours

Location Description

Dukes Memorial Hospital, a member of the Lutheran Health Network, is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Peru, Indiana, 60 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and approximately 70 miles north of Indianapolis. Dukes is accredited by The Joint Commission and provides a full complement of ancillary services similar to an acute care facility. The hospital has an accredited stroke center and chest pain center and offers a wide range of services including a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient and outpatient surgery, outpatient clinics, a sleep lab, a full-service laboratory, obstetrical services, and diagnostics including MRI, CT, nuclear medicine and digital mammography. Dukes also provides rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation services.
