Position Overview

Longview Orthopedics, part of the Regional Clinics of Longview and affiliated with Longview Regional Medical Center, is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing, well-established team in Longview, Texas.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas
  • Strong surgical and interpersonal skills

Location Description

The Hospital
Longview Regional Hospital is a fully accredited 133-bed acute care community hospital with physicians on staff in more than 30 fields of specialty. The hospital’s comprehensive services include everything from robotic surgery with the region’s first state-of-the-art DaVinci 3-D surgical system, to Open Heart surgery, to the only MRI-guided breast biopsy services in the community. Hospital services include a dedicated unit for Geriatric care; Bariatric surgery, Cardiac rehab program; designated Level III Trauma services; extensive Occupational Medicine services to local industries; the area’s only Hospital-based skilled nursing facility; Sleep Lab; a $4.7 million Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging center with MRI and latest generation CT capabilities, and much more.
