There is a 12-bed ICU & 12-bed CCU in addition to a 7-bed ICU Step-down. One ICU trained-NP does most of the procedures in the ICU's. There is an additional NP devoted to the OP Clinic.
Four (4) Bed Sleep Unit. In-house staff with New Modern Equipment as of January 2024 - Dr. Cichelli, Medical Director.
Nocturnists on-site for coverage.
East Georgia Regional's healthcare team consists of approximately 750 associates and over 90 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac catherization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology/radiology.
