Job Description

Wilkes-Barre General Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join a hospital-affiliated single specialty group.

  • Candidate must be comfortable with Interventional Radiology including angiography and vascular and all general modalities
  • Potential ratio of IR to General is 50/50
  • Potential call of 1:4
  • Potential schedule of M-F 8am-5pm

Radiology Associates of Wyoming Valley has been serving the greater Wyoming Valley and its surrounding areas since 2003. They are a Nationally Accredited facility designated by the American College of Radiology in MRI, Ultrasound, CT, Nuclear Medicine including PET and CT, and Mammography; and Nationally Accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories in Vascular Ultrasound.

Wilkes-Barre General Hospital is Northeastern Pennsylvania’s largest community hospital, with 369-beds and a medical staff of more than 400 physicians representing nearly 50 medical and surgical specialties. It has long been recognized for excellence in heart and vascular care, and an emergency department that treats nearly 60,000 patients a year.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area is in the top 50 TV markets within the US.  While maintaining the small community feel that makes it a great place to raise a family, there are over 1m people in a 50-mile radius of Wilkes-Barre.
