Lutheran Health Network is seeking multiple Urologists to expand its urology service line in a great location for families, affordability, lakes, cool neighborhoods and that big city, small-town feel. In alignment with Urology of Indiana, one of the state’s largest and well known independent urology groups, you will have the opportunity to step into a busy practice with a solid referral base and ability to tailor your practice to meet your individual patient care goals.

We offer your patients the ability to seek care close to home while also providing streamlined access to state-of-the-art laboratory, radiation and imaging services. Our board-certified physicians and medical staff are experts on the latest advances in urologic and urogynecologic care and are leaders in bringing new technology and treatment options to its communities.

Candidate Requirements

  • MD, DO or equivalent degree
  • Board Certification in Urology
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Indiana Medical License 
  • The ability to obtain and maintain medical staff privileges at Urology of Indiana covered facilities

Location Description

Lutheran Hospital is a 396-bed tertiary care facility that opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1904. Lutheran’s areas of specialized care include northern Indiana’s only heart and kidney transplant programs, an accredited bariatric surgery program, Level II verified adult and pediatric trauma centers, an accredited and commended community hospital cancer care program and a certified primary stroke center. In addition to transplantation, Lutheran’s trailblazing history of heart care is evident through its accreditations as a heart failure institute and chest pain center. It has also achieved advanced certification from The Joint Commission for ventricular assist devices and was the first hospital in northern Indiana to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Lutheran Children’s Hospital teams with 68 pediatricians from across the region and state who practice in 20 areas of pediatric specialty. This “hospital within a hospital” now includes a separate pediatric emergency department and offers an environment filled with imagination and color throughout.
