Eastern New Mexico Medical Center (ENMMC) is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a highly respected, established GI group in Roswell, NM. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, turnkey practice with strong community demand, growth potential, and a supportive hospital environment.
Position Highlights
- Hospital-employed GI position with robust administrative and clinical support
- Join a team of 2 Gastroenterologists
- 1:3 call schedule, covering a minimum of 10 call days per month
- Flexible scheduling, including the option to discuss a 4-day workweek
- Inpatient + Outpatient mix
- Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
- Clinic volumes:
- Schedule built at 15/30-minute intervals
- Average 22–26 patients/day
- Procedures: General GI; group is open to expanding advanced GI services (ERCP/EUS experience preferred but not required)
- NP support available in clinic
- Established referral network from primary care and multiple specialties
- Opportunity to teach/mentor medical students rotating through the hospital
- Must be board-certified and have completed U.S. residency
- J-1 visa support available for 2027 candidates
- Opportunity to participate in clinical research and clinical trials, supporting innovation and advancing GI care
