Da Vinci Xi • 1:3 Call • $50k Commencement Bonus
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is adding a BE/BC General Surgeon to an established, two-physician collaborative practice. We have designed this employed position to maximize your time in the OR and minimize administrative burden.
The Practice:
- Employed position within a financially stable regional health system
- Bread-and-butter case mix
- Full access to a Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system
- Separate GI suites available for endoscopy
- Dedicated, blocked OR time for case growth and efficiency
- Spacious, modern clinic directly connected to the hospital
Schedule & Support:
- Target schedule: 2.5 days OR / 2 days clinic
- Average clinic volume: 15 patients per day
- Manageable 1:3 call (approx. 10 days/month)
- Complete inbox, scheduling, and prior-authorization management by admin team
- Inpatient rounding support provided by growing APP team
- Athena (clinic) and Cerner (hospital) EMRs with AI-enabled outpatient tech
Financial Package:

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is a 410-bed acute care hospital serving southeast Missouri as a regional medical center.
