Merit Health River Oaks is recruiting a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our hospital-employed surgical team with a 2027 start date. Located in Flowood, Mississippi, one of the most desirable suburbs of Jackson, this opportunity is ideal for 2027 graduating residents as well as experienced surgeons planning a future transition.

Position Highlights
- 2027 start date
- Bread-and-butter general surgery practice
- No endoscopy required
- 1:3 call schedule with approximately 7–10 days of ER call per month
- Access to two da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems
- Advanced Practice Provider support in both the clinic and inpatient settings
