Job Description
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our hospital medicine team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care during overnight shifts in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
- Manage admissions, consultations, and cross-coverage responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Participate in patient care coordination and handoff communication
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Missouri NP license or eligibility for licensure
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prior experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in an overnight hospital setting
Schedule
- Full-time nocturnist position
- Overnight shifts
- Flexible scheduling options may be available
