Position Highlights
- Schedule: 7-on / 7-off
- Shift Length: 12-hour daytime shifts
- Compensation: $160/hour
- Hospital-employed position
- Fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform hospital-based procedures including:
- Central lines
- Intubations
- Codes and emergency response procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary teams
- Ensure timely documentation and effective patient care coordination
- Adhere to hospital quality, safety, and clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Comfortable performing hospital-based procedures
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting
