Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for the hospitalist program
- Oversee inpatient care delivery and support physician team performance
- Ensure adherence to hospital quality metrics and patient safety initiatives
- Participate in clinical care including admissions, rounding, and inpatient management
- Perform and support procedures including:
- Central line placement
- Intubations
- Code response and resuscitation management
- Collaborate with hospital administration, nursing leadership, and specialty services
- Support scheduling, workflow optimization, and program development
Position Highlights

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Prior hospitalist experience required; leadership experience preferred
- Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong procedural skills (lines, intubations, codes)
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
